Planbuster is a digital service for creating, managing, and sharing events and collecting responses from invited guests. The service is provided by Fennister AB.
Related documents: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Planbuster, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.
When you register, the interface states that creating an account means you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy (with links). There is currently no separate checkbox that stores a terms version number or acceptance timestamp. Using the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where mandatory consumer law requires a different process.
Product follow-up: consider an explicit acceptance checkbox and stored terms version at registration, purchase, and other key actions once paid billing ships.
You are responsible for:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or to create and administer events yourself. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
If you are under 18, you may purchase a subscription, credits, or other paid services only if a parent or guardian has approved the purchase, or if applicable law allows you to enter into the contract and use the funds yourself. This applies whenever such purchases are offered (paid billing may not be live yet).
Planbuster is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly direct the service or our marketing at children under 16. The product does not currently include an automated age gate; if we have reasonable grounds to believe an account is used by someone under 16, we may restrict it, request more information, or delete it and related data as permitted by law. See also the Privacy Policy “Children and age limits” section.
An organiser who invites minors is responsible for running the event lawfully and appropriately and for obtaining any necessary guardian approvals. Guests under the minimum age may sometimes RSVP without an account; they should not provide more personal data than needed, and where the law requires it a guardian must provide or approve the data.
You may sign in with email/password (after email verification) or with Google or Apple.
Events in Planbuster are created by a signed-in host and are linked to that host account. Anonymous “unclaimed” events that live only in a browser session are not part of the current product.
Visibility:
Related helpers in the product: a short-lived cookie may store a chosen public handle during registration; orphan uploaded images may be claimed onto a new event; anonymous RSVPs can later be linked to an account with the same verified email.
You retain your rights to content you upload or create (event text, images, chat messages, AI drafts you keep, and similar).
You grant Planbuster a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, technically copy, display, format, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service — including delivering it to guests and co-hosts you invite. This licence is not a permanent assignment of your rights to private content beyond what is needed to run the service.
You warrant that you have the rights needed to publish the content and that it complies with these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
If you make an event public, it may:
Invite-only events are not described as secret. Link holders can forward the URL. Do not put highly sensitive information in any event page you would not want a recipient to reshare.
As an organiser you are responsible for:
Planbuster is a technical platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Planbuster is not the organiser, employer, ticket seller, or contracting party for the underlying event.
When AI features are enabled, Planbuster may help generate event or template drafts. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, inappropriate, or similar to existing material. You must review results before publishing.
AI output is not legal, medical, safety, or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you use it. Features, models, credits, and limits may change or be withdrawn. Credit costs follow the pricing information shown in the product.
Today, Free and Pro plans exist in the product model, and AI features may consume credits. Online card payments (for example Stripe) are not implemented. Pro access and credit grants may be applied manually by administrators.
Published marketing prices on the pricing page describe intended offerings; they do not create an automatic charge until a payment flow is live.
TODO(business/legal): when Stripe or another processor launches, document currency, tax, renewal, cancellation timing, credit expiry, refunds, price changes, and EU consumer withdrawal rights for digital services. Do not invent a refund policy before that decision.
Mandatory consumer rights under Swedish and EU law are not waived by these terms.
We may maintain, update, change, or temporarily limit access to Planbuster for technical, security, or operational reasons. We may discontinue features with reasonable regard for paying users and mandatory consumer law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Planbuster works to keep the service available and to protect information stored in it. No digital service can be guaranteed free from outages, defects, security incidents, or data loss.
Events, guest lists, RSVP responses, messages, images, AI-generated material, and other content may in exceptional cases be lost, damaged, become unavailable, or be deleted because of technical faults, software defects, subprocessor failures, unauthorised attacks, maintenance, user error, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Planbuster does not guarantee that the service is a permanent archive, backup, or storage service. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of information that is especially important or irreplaceable, to the extent the service offers export or the information can otherwise be saved.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Planbuster is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, lost profit, lost business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or costs of recreating an event. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, or liability for intent or gross negligence.
Consumers (B2C):
Limitations in these terms apply only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. Nothing excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury where such exclusion is unlawful.
Business users (B2B):
Subject to mandatory law, Planbuster’s aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees the business customer actually paid for the service during [B2B_LIABILITY_CAP_PERIOD] before the claim arose. TODO(business): replace this placeholder with an approved lookback period (for example 12 months) once billing is live.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by extraordinary events outside our reasonable control, such as major internet or cloud outages, government action, war or serious civil unrest, natural disasters, large-scale cyberattacks, labour disputes, or critical infrastructure failure. Force majeure does not excuse ordinary internal negligence or failure to maintain the service.
We may remove content, limit an event, suspend an account, or terminate access when we reasonably believe there is unlawful activity, fraud, spam, a security risk, infringement of third-party rights, serious or repeated breaches of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or non-payment (when paid billing applies).
Where practicable we will give you a chance to fix the problem. Immediate action may be required for serious harm, legal risk, or security incidents. Serious cases may be reported to competent authorities.
You may stop using the service at any time. Self-service account deletion is not yet available in the product; request closure via hello@planbuster.com or hello@planbuster.com.
When an account is closed, associated events and related data are generally removed or anonymised according to our technical cascades and legal retention needs. Guests may temporarily still see cached pages. Some records (for example security logs or legally required records) may be kept longer. Restoration is not guaranteed. Export important information before requesting deletion.
These terms are governed by Swedish law, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence within the EU/EEA.
